Once you've created a push notification, the quickest way to test the notification is directly in the Channels module.
Before you test your push notification, make sure you have the ID of a test recipient ready which has valid data for your push notification system. This could be a device ID, member number, or other identification which is used to explain which phone should receive the message.

How to Test a Push Notification
- Open the Channels module and then select 'Push'.
- Navigate to the push notification you'd like to test.
- In the right sidebar, there's a section called 'Test push message'. Here, fill in the Recipient ID you'd like to test the push notification with.
- Select the 'Send test message' button. A pop-up will appear with the result and the test recipient will receive a push message if the recipient has valid data for your push notification system.
Your push notification is now tested and ready to send out to live recipients.
If the test shows the error 'Push message test failed', click 'Show details' to see the complete call and response.
