The App Channel is an end-to-end solution in Agillic that allows you to create and send App Push Messages to your recipients’ mobile devices. The channel is integrated into the platform with its own interface, where you can set up the App Push Messages. When you have finalised the content in these messages, you will go to the flow designer in order to execute the App Push Notifications, and here you will have full control of which recipients get what App Push Notifications and when.
This article will give you an overview of the benefits of using the App Channel, examples of use cases and a short introduction to how the App Channel works.

App Channel Use Cases
App-push messages can be used to target individuals with personalised marketing messages. It allows you to target individuals with specific offers and promotions that are relevant to them, increasing the likelihood that they will make a purchase. The App Push Notifications can also be used to remind customers about items they have left in their shopping cart. Personalised push notifications can help to increase customer loyalty and encourage customers to return to your store.
This section will introduce you to the different use cases of where App Push Notifications can be utilised as part of your marketing automation strategy. The use cases are based on Café Connect, a fictional company selling coffee both in stores and subscription based.
App Push Notifications allows Café Connect to improve their personalised marketing by providing a way to target their customers with specific messages based on their interests or past interactions and behaviour. By using an App Push Notifications Café Connect can let their customers know when their favourite coffee beans is back in stock with an App Push Notification. The call-to-action in the App Push Notification is to reserve the coffee directly from the App. By only showing the products that are in the interest of the customers, Café Connect can improve the overall customer experience.

A Cafe Connect customer has installed the Café Connect app on their smartphone. The customer browses the App and views the page regarding Membership options. This information will be tracked and with the knowledge of the customers interest in membership options, an App Push Notification with an offer on a free trial for the Cafe Connect Care Club is sent to the customer. App Push Notifications allows Café Connect to target each of their customers with specific offers and Promotions that are relevant to them, increasing the likelihood that the customer will make a purchase.
In order to give the customers in Café Connect's physical stores the best possible experience every time they visit one of the stores, an App Push Notification is sent to the customer asking them to evaluate their visit. Letting the customer know that any bad experiences are taken care of will contribute to prevent the customer from churning.
