Don’t miss out on the details below!
Agillic 21.0 in details
Redesign of the entire SMS channel
Our redesign of the SMS channel lets you create dynamic content efficiently by merging Person Data, Global Data, and Unique Lookups in a totally intuitive way. We’ve also redefined what it means to work with Promotions within this channel. So, get ready to truly embrace Promotions as this release enables you to work with them smarter and more effectively.
The new interface also supports seamless working with links, whether they be external links, menu items, or assets. You can easily add Events to your links too, for effective reporting and triggering additional cross channel communications. We’ve also made significant improvements to the dynamic SMS character count — which you can see directly in the interface — together with instantly being able to preview and verify your dynamic content. Also supported in our new editor is language versioning along with extended testing options so you can feel at ease before executing your communications.
With the new SMS editor in place, we’re also introducing an automatic publish of your SMS to Staging for a simplified and quicker workflow. Going forward, it’s important to keep in mind that you will still have to publish to your Production environment to set your SMS content live.
So, get ready for a totally new workflow and overall work experience for working with our SMS channel. Enjoy!
What to be aware of
Since we’re moving the entire SMS channel onto a different and improved data structure, the upgrade process will republish all existing SMS Messages to Production. This means that the latest version of each SMS on Staging will be published for all existing messages. Any SMS Messages not yet published to Production are not affected by this.
