New end-to-end App Channel in beta
We strive to enable marketers to focus on the message, and let Agillic’s automation capabilities do the rest. Our new App Channel takes care of the whole process end-to-end, including easy integration with push providers and your app.
We've provided a simple way to handle push notifications for some time. But with increased demand for cross-channel communication, we have decided to expand our mobile offering - and to make it easier at the same time.
Therefore, we are now putting our new end-to-end offering in beta, where automated communications in Agillic integrate directly into your app. The App Channel allows you to communicate to specific users on specific apps (if you have more than one). And we combine push notifications with in-app tracking to further personalise your communication.
The channel is integrated into the platform with its own interface, where you can set up the app push messages. When you have finalised the content, you will go to the flow designer in order to execute the app push messages. The first version offers:
- Complete end-to-end with a direct hook to the main gateways (Apple Push Notification Service for iOS and Firebase Cloud Messaging for Android).
- Personalisation of headline and message.
- Support for images and custom actions (like links to a specific page).
As we move closer to a full release of the App Channel, we plan to phase out the existing push functionality as well. If you use the current Push Channel, please reach out to your customer success manager for more information.
