GDPR Consent to Push Notifications
Customers can now manage consent to App Push Notifications using Agillic. In order for a consent to be valid, it must be documented. This can now be done in Agillic. This feature, if activated, will allow recipients to register and withdraw that consent guaranteeing only recipients that have given consent will receive a push notification sent by Agillic. Customers that do not activate this feature are considered to gather and manage consent or other valid legal basis themselves. Existing customers that wish to activate this feature will need to migrate and should contact their Agillic support representative.
Restrict Access to App APIs
Customers are provided with a set of APIs that allow them to register devices. In this release customers can apply a scope to API credentials. This is intended to reduce the scale of operations for API credentials that are embedded in an app and distributed to devices. Clients are encouraged to update the settings to ensure optimal performance.
