We are pleased to announce the upcoming Auto-archiving feature, designed to keep your Agillic workspace clean, organized, and responsive. This update allows the system to automatically handle older items such as flows and emails, ensuring that your environment remains focused on current and relevant content while maintaining the ability to restore items when necessary.
Enhancing Workspace Efficiency through Auto-Archiving
As your use of the Agillic platform grows, the volume of historical content can occasionally impact system responsiveness and make it more difficult to navigate your active work. To address this, we are introducing a comprehensive archiving solution that balances system performance with the flexibility required for content management.
Archived items will be housed in a new root folder, keeping them out of your primary view unless you are specifically looking for them. Importantly, you will still be able to include archived items in your reports and activity exports to ensure your historical data remains accessible for comparison.
The Value of a Managed Workspace
Many long-term users have accumulated significant amounts of content created for one-time purposes. Items that can clutter the interface and lead to performance issues. The Auto-archiving feature addresses these challenges by:
Improving Performance: Reducing the volume of items loaded in the front end ensures a faster and more responsive experience.
Organising Content: Separating reusable templates from historical one-time items helps maintain a tidy environment.
Ensuring Data Safety: Archived items are not immediately deleted; they are moved to a dedicated area where they can be reviewed or restored.
Key Features and Functionality
Manual Control: Beyond automation, you have the option to manually archive items to clean up their workspace immediately.
Smart archiving: To prevent broken journeys, the system will not archive any items that are still being referenced by active work items.
Easy restore: If an archived item is needed again, it can be restored directly to its original folder, provided it has not reached its final deletion date.
Timeframes: The new auto-archiving feature is not enabled automatically, but will be at some point in the future. Contact you client manager to learn more about the options.
