The Import Settings allow you to define Import File Formats in Agillic. You can also set up notifications from the Import Settings to let you know whether or not an import has been successful.
The Import Settings are found under the 'System Settings' section in the Settings module. These settings control the format for Import Files.
Below you will find information about:
Formats for Import files
The Person Data import formats ensure that only data in a valid format can be imported into Agillic. Make sure the settings follow the format of the file extracted from an external database. If the format of the imported file does not follow these settings, the import will fail.
While all settings have a default value, they can be changed to better match your needs.
The settings include:
- File delimiter
- File extension
- Decimal separator
- Date format
- Timestamp format
Be careful if you change these settings as any automatic transfers to Agillic could break if the required format is altered.

Import Notifications
Under the Import Settings, you can also set up a notification system. Setting up import notifications makes it possible for you to select one or more email addresses which should be notified when an import file either imports successfully or fails to import into Agillic.
It's important to note that import notifications can only be set up to notify for successful or failed import files on your Agillic Production environment.
You can read more about how to set up an import notification here.
