Once you've created a Web or Advisor page, you may want to test it. You can do this directly from the Channels module. By testing your Portal page, you can make sure it works as intended for different recipients and that different applications work as intended too.
Unlike testing an email in the Channels module, you'll need to Publish to Staging before testing your Portal page.
