Person Data is a data type which is specific to each of your recipients. For example, a recipient's name, email address, and phone number are all types of Person Data.
If you would like to send out communications which use Person Data values, you need to check your Person Data to ensure you have everything you need to complete your campaigns.
You may also be in a situation where you need to check a live recipient's Person Data on the Production environment if, say, you need to troubleshoot why a specific recipient hasn't received an email from you as they didn't meet the Conditions to receive the communication.
How to Check your Recipients' Person Data
- Log in to Staging.
- Create a Target Group.
- Open the 'Conditions' Panel.
- Set your Target Group's Conditions to reflect the Person Data field you want to check. An example of this could be Person Data - FAVOURITE_CANDY_TYPE - Is empty - Condition not met.
- Click 'Save'.
- Click the 'Recipients' panel to fold-out the 'Recipient overview'.
From here, you can check your recipients' Person Data. If you don't see the Person Data field you'd like to check, you'll need to change your Details view.
If you need to check your live recipients' data, do a Publish to Production and log in to Production to check the recipients in the newly published Target Group.
