An Activity Export contains a full log of activity for all recipients within a given period of time. The Activity Export can be automated, and supports exporting to WebDAV as well as SFTP servers. Should you wish to analyse the data in an external data analysis tool, the Activity Export is an idea choice.
Creating an Automated Activity Export
An Activity Export configured to run daily at 12:00:00
Schedule - This allows you to automate the Export. If the Activity Export exists on both Staging and Production, the checkbox 'Only execute on production' allows you restrict the execution.
Items - Check the items you wish to export. Each checked item will be in self-contained export file, but all packaged in one '.zip' file. If an item has been checked, but no file is generated - there was no activity in the selected period.
Settings - Select an 'Export Profile' (where will the files be exported to), and a 'Maximum Export Period'.
Click Save and make sure that the 'Activity Export' is 'active'.

Manually Execute an Activity Export
Create a new Activity Export following the steps above, or select and existing Activity Export. Click the Execute panel to expand the available options.
From last export - Generate an export file, covering the period since the last export (automated or otherwise)
Period - Manually define a date range you wish to export data for
Start - Define a start date from which data should be included
Finally, click Run Export.

Accessing the Activity Export
If Export Profile was of the type 'folder' (WebDAV), a WebDAV client is required to access the export files.
The login credentials are your Agillic 'login' credentials (be aware of the difference between Staging and Production).
