New Block Panel | The way users add blocks to the canvas has been given a complete overhaul. All blocks are located in a block panel that slides in from the left. The block panel give users all the blocks they need for a specific item, both new and saved Library Blocks. |
Autoscroll to Droparea when adding a New Block | When the user drags a block from the block panel the canvas autoscrolls to the first drop area for the specific block. |
Auto-close Block Panel | The block panel will automatically close when the user clicks anywhere outside of the panel. |
Search Functionality in the Block Panel | A search functionality has been implemented in the block panel allowing the user to search for the name of a specific block. Especially if the user has a lot of Library Blocks this will reduce the time they spend scrolling trough the list. |
Drag’n Drop Blocks | From the block panel users can drag and drop blocks from the block panel onto the canvas. |
Library Block Detach | New option to always detach a Library Block when dragged onto the canvas. |
Target Group Block | A Target Group block is a simpler way for users to do block segmentation by just adding a Target Group to any block. Once the block is selected, users can select a Target Group for a block in the righthand sidebar. Target Group blocks include:

Dynamic Content Block Condition Editor | The condition editor has been updated to a more user-friendly experience. We understand that send out dates relative to timeframes can sometimes make it difficult to get a complete overview over. With the new content designers also comes a visual representation of day/time of send-out timeframes. Setting conditions through the content designers will always present a summary of the conditions so users can easily verify their conditions. The Condition Editor includes:

No-Code Dynamic Content Fields | All input fields now have dedicated buttons for inserting dynamic content fields. |
Block indicator | New block indicator, showing users what type of block it is. |

Multi Content |
Multi Content has been renamed to Variant Group. Variant Groups are required to have a minimum of two blocks contained. Anything less and the block will convert to a Target Group block which functions and caters to the need of simply adding a target group to a block. The changes from Multi Content to Variant Group include:

Subject Line Test Settings moved to Email Editor |
The subject line test settings are now visible within the email editor instead of in the flows module. Directly when the user sets up their subject line variants they can define how their subject line test should be evaluated. |
“Highest Open and Click Rate” Removed from Subject Line Test |
The option to choose “Highest open and click rate” when defining what the winning subject line is determined by has been removed. The options now consist of either “Highest open rate” or “Highest click rate”. |
Subject Line Test: “Amount to test on” rounded to the nearest multiple of 5 |
As the “amount of to test on” is no longer an unrestricted input, but instead increments of 5%. In the migration, the previous configuration will be rounded up. |

Preview & Test Attachments |
It’s possible to preview all types of attachments of an email. The attachments will open in a new tab when clicked in preview mode. If the attachment includes dynamic data the attachment will show the correct data from the test profile chosen. |
Improved Error Message when Test Send fails due to Invalid Attachment |
The error message for when a test send fails due to an invalid attachment (could be due to a wrong format) has been improved. This allows the user to easily fix the error. |
Preview Mobile |
It’s possible to preview an email on mobile devices, to easily see how the email will be displayed within a smaller screen size. |

Previewing all email subject line variants is now an option. |
Easy Preview of Language Versions |
It’s easy to select between different language versions combined with any test profile. A new warning has been added showing whether the selected test recipient has the language version that the user is currently displaying through the canvas. |
Remember last used Target Group & Recipient |
Selected recipients and test email adresses is being saved in the browser so testing and previewing multiple times are easier for the user. |

Saved Library Blocks have gotten all the new experiences and tools from the new content designers, so when users are working with saved blocks, they will be familiar with the experience. Library blocks will be moved to their own space, completely disconnected from Assets and Templates. |

Change background color for Rich Text Field Text Resources |
The user can change the background colour for a rich text field. The background color will only change while editing, and will not be saved with the content. This change is made as the text resource editor has a white background, and the user therefore might run into issues if they need a text resource with white text. This means that the marketing professional wouldn’t be able to read the text unless the text resource were added to a block with a different colour background. Now they can easily change the background color instead. |

Hotkeys for enable/disable bold/Italic/underline |

Discard Changes functionality |
When the user has made changes to any content, they are now able to discard their changes and revert to the last saved version. When the user has made some changes, then a button to discard their changes appears besides the Save button. |
Drag & Drop Functionality to reposition blocks |
Blocks can be repositioned by dragging and dropping them within the canvas. This is an addition to moving them up and down with arrows. |
